Q: What types of payment does Skookum Carts accept?

A: Skookum Carts currently accepts Cash, Check, and Zelle. Skookum Carts does not accept credit cards.


Q: How do I book an appointment?

A: Appointments are booked directly on the website Home Page or the Make an appointment tab.

First, Determine which service you require. If a service is not listed, email SkookumCarts@gmail.com.

There are four categories of services. 


1. Annual Service - Book an Annual Service if you are looking for a "Tune-Up" for your cart. Please only book an   Annual Service if your cart is functional. 

 
2. Battery Replacement - If you would like new batteries installed book under the Battery Replacement box. 

3. Diagnostics - If you are experiencing a minor or major issue with your cart and would like to have it looked at     then book under the Diagnostics box. 

4. Other Services - If the service you're looking for is listed below, book under the Other Services box.

 
- Brake Adjustment
- Side mirror installation

- LED headlight installation

- Tire replacement (please list tire size and quantity needed)

- Front-end alignment

- Basic Inspection or pre-purchase Inspection



Q: Is there a mobile fee for the Annual service?

 A: Coming to you is included in the Annual service pricing, along with any basic supplies required to perform the service. 


Q: How often should I charge my golf cart?

 A: The amount of time in between charges depends on how frequently the golf cart is used. Some golf carts are equipped with a battery gauge to signal when it's time to charge. If you do not have a battery gauge, Skookum Carts can install one for you. 


Q: What should my tire pressure be set to?

 A: OEM tires on most golf carts are set to 22 PSI. Aftermarket tires will range from 20 PSI to 30 PSI. You can find the suggested pressure on the side of the tire listed as "Maximum operation pressure or Maximum PSI".


Q: How often should I check the water in my batteries?

 A: Use distilled water only. Wear eye protection and gloves when filling batteries. Ensure the cart is off and unplugged from the charger. It is recommended to check the water levels on a monthly basis if the cart is used regularly. If the cart is not used every day it can be checked less often. The water levels inside the battery should cover the cells by 1/2".
